2/15/18 – This is an original and correct Colt M1911 from 1917, with about 94-95% blue remaining. There isn’t much actual finish loss anywhere on the pistol, but patina is coming through on the slide and frame, and the right side slide shows minor oxidation. Slide is H marked on the back, and barrel is properly marked with vertical P H. The original grips are in good condition, but the left panel does have a minor crack near the bottom. Bore has strong rifling but some frosting throughout.
