7/26/24 – This is an original WW2 era production Thompson SMG drum magazine. The magazine holds 50 rounds and is fully functional, so please do not purchase if this is not legal in your state. The magazine is in great overall condition but there is some minor rust on the sides and near the loading mouth. The original dull bluing is in tact and great throughout the magazine. Strong spring but we recommend not winding. the magazine is marked “Type L” for the 1928 model. You can tell this magazine is WW2 original by its markings throughout including having specific patent dates, abbreviations for New York and the United States, “N.Y. U.S.A.” instruction for the number of winds for different models, and other specific markings without the Thompson bullet. These magazine are very hard to find all original and in this condition.
