12/10/19 – This is an original nazi army enlisted man’s wool cap. Also known as a “mountain cap”. The wool is excellent with no moth chew marks or holes. The interior silk liner is in great shape as well with minimal signs of sweat / dirty stains. The nazi army insignia on the front of the cap is completely in tact. There is an original label on both the exterior and interior that was attached by the Rose Jean Art DeHoff Branch Library. These labels are old and show aging, as this hat was a library display piece long ago. Definitely an original.
