8/28/24 – This is an authentic Luftwaffe Officer promotion document from WW2. The promotion is for a Major named “Karl Elshorst” who was promoted on December 1st 1941 to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. The document itself is in excellent condition with some light stains common with older documents. The lower left corner of the document is embossed with the Third Reich Eagle with the swastika and wreath. This document does contain a facsimile of Adolf Hitlers signature. The Hermann Göring signature on this item was authenticated in 2021 by Morphy Auctions who stated this item contained ” an original signature of Hermann Goering (Reichsmarshall), leader of the Luftwaffe. Outside experts were consulted, who rendered the same opinion regarding the signatures”
