2/14/19 – This is an original WW2 German Luftwaffe boot knife. The knife has a black bakelite handle with brass inlays, which was an “upgraded” handle known as the “deluxe” model. These were more expensive and rare as only those who could afford the upgrade would buy. The handle is smooth and in excellent condition. The blade has some light speckling but overall excellent and unsharpened. Luftwaffe eagle/5 proof stamped on one side. Excellent original scabbard has black paint and no signs of repainting. Light wear on the scabbard not excessive. All original.
