5/3/21 – This is is a nice example of a Japanese Type 2 Paratrooper Rifle issued to the Japanese military during WW2. Made in the Nagoya Arsenal. The receiver has a completely intact mum stamp. Most of the gun is mismatched and the barrel has been refinished. Overall, the gun is in nice condition. Generally, there is thinning and spotty patina and oxidation throughout. Minor pitting on the receiver. The stock is fairly nice with minor dings and scratches throughout. There is a minor crack on the right side of the stock. There is also a chip on the right side of the foregrip. Excellent bore – shiny with strong rifling.
