2/6/23 – This is an original WW2 German Army belt and buckle. The buckle is standard-issue “Gott Mit Uns” variation, but has significant surface rub wear and patina on the exterior. The interior of the buckle still retains some of the olive green field paint. The interior also shows a maker stamp “L.K.O.”. The top of the buckle shows a mild dent from what looks like a blunt force blow of some kind. The leather belt is in great overall condition. There’s some missing stitching on the leather buckle tab and fastening end of the belt, but this is mild as the belt is still completely intact. Typical surface scuffing and wrinkling throughout the belt, along with a small chip or chewed edge of leather in one spot. This doesn’t affect function or structural integrity of the piece however. The leather belt is maker stamped on the fastening end as shown.
