3/13/23 – This is an original finish S&W Revolver in MINT condition. It comes in the original box, numbered to the gun. The hammer and trigger still have most of the case hardening. I would assume this was ordered by the US Government and then never issued. There is a factory letter with the gun to indicate that it was shipped in May of 1945. As the letter states it is devoid of any Military or Government markings. The outer box shows the shipping label, and the inner box has the cannon cartouche along with the serial number of the gun. We would rate the finish at about 99% and the bore to like new. This is what it must have looked liked the day it left the factory.
