3/9/2023 – This is a complete P.38 Rig from 1942. The gun is in excellent condition, with about 95% of its original bluing, with some thinning on the front strap. The bore is shiny and strong. The action is tight, and the de-cocker works properly. It has period correct grips, and a total of two correct Eagle/359 proofed magazines. The holster is a hardshell black holster; dated 1942. Issued to the German Army as evidence by the waffen proof on the back. The overall condition of the holster is good. The name “Rugger” is scratched into the back of the leather. Overall a great example of the 1942 P.38 rig that was issued to the German Army for WW2.
