10/23/18 – This is an original pre WW2 (most likely 1920s) commercial Luger holster. The holster is fairly scarce and unusual and in excellent condition for its’ age. The magazine pouch is on the front of the holster instead of the side, as seen on most luger holsters. Also the closure strap goes from the body of leather to the lid, not the other way around. The belt loops on the backside of the holster are reinforced with rivets. This we’re not sure is factory original – could have been later done during or after WW2. Despite this minor “flaw” the holster is very nice with light pliability and a pebble grain – like pattern on the exterior. There’s some surface cracking and normal wear on the exterior. Clean interior leather. Guaranteed all original and authentic.
