4/11/22 – This is an original WW1 production rifle bayonet for a model 1903 or similar rifle. The bayonet is in great overall condition. The blade has a beautiful dark blued finish that we believe was arsenal refinished after WW1. The blade is “SA” stamped with a 1910 date, ordnance stamp and a serial number on the other side of the ricasso. The original wood handle is in great condition as well with a “28” stamp on one side – this is likely an arsenal rack number of some kind. Comes with an excellent US ordnance proofed scabbard.
