11/30/23 – This is an early, likely WW1 production Luger holster that was later modified into police style. We suspect this was a post-WW1 Weimar-era modified holster, but can’t be sure. The holster has multiple areas of empty stitch holes from the modifications performed, and there’s an added rivet on the closure strap as shown. The leather is soft and pliable throughout with aging and a repair at the front toe. The stitching near the toe is loose as well, causing some mild separation of the leather. Still structurally sound however.
