12/5/23 – This is an original US M1916 holster from WW1. The holster is in good overall condition, with a fair amount of wear and aging throughout the exterior leather. The leather holds its shape nicely and has normal pliability. The back leather maker stamp and date code are too worn to read other than T.C.C. and the tail of the date, 1918. However the back of the belt hanger reads “Rock Island Arsenal 1913 H.E.K.”. The stitching is all tight and original.
