2/22/23 – This is an original WW1 era production Luger holster in excellent overall condition. The holster is WW1 style, and is maker stamped on the front leather just under the closure strap area. The interior lid has a faint ink stamp often associated with military units or designations of that sort. The leather has excellent shape and mild pliability, which is rare for a WW1 production holster. There’s some mild surface wrinkling on the lid and closure strap, as well as some surface scuffing near the toe and corners of the lid. The stitching is all original and intact with no notable stitching flaws. The closure strap base is a somewhat odd style and cut of leather, but there’s no evidence to show this as replacement or not period correct. Overall a high-end WW1 Luger holster.
