5/8/21 – This is an original WW1 Japanese Cavalry sword. The blade is in good condition with a serial number stamped into the base. There is a small area of sharpening on the blade edge, and some mild patina mostly towards the tip. No cracks or chips in the handle and the hand guard has patina throughout. There are some small Japanese maker stamps on the outer end of the hand guard. The scabbard has no dents or major issues.
