1/19/23 – This is an original pair of WW1 German Fernglas 08 Binoculars by Leitz Wetzlar. The binoculars are in great overall condition with surface wear, aging, and finish loss on the exterior. The adjustment knobs are still fully functional, although the right eye adjustment is tight. The optics have some cloudiness to them, but they’re still clear and functional. Comes with an original leather case that’s maker stamped on one of the leather straps as shown. The side closure straps appear replaced and are glued to the sides of the case. The interior is fairly clean, as shown.
