1/20/23 – This is an original pair of WW1 German Binoculars. These Fernglas 08 binoculars are maker stamped by Carl Zeiss on both the leather case, and on the binocular’s exterior. The binoculars are also 1916 date stamped on the arch that connects the two eye pieces, as shown. They show typical surface wear and mild patina, but are still fully functional with clear optics and working adjustment knobs. There is some mild dirt and speckling on the lenses, but this is very mild and doesn’t affect vision or functionality. The leather case is all original with some exterior use wear and aging, as shown. Fairly clean interior.
