8/7/24 – This is a great+ example of a WW1 Erfurt Luger magazine with a single crown proof. Erfurt P.08 magazines had two crown proof stamps until mid 1916 where they transitioned to one proof only for a couple years making these a little more scarce then the double stamped magazines. The tube has very little to no wear with only a slight yellow discoloration. The wood has no cracks or chips. Stamped lightly with a “Crown.” It appears to be a T but its lightly stamped so hard to be certain. The base is also stamped with the serial number seen in the photos. A very hard to upgrade WW1 era magazine.
