11/5/20 – This is an antique Reichsrevolver with a period correct holster. The revolver is serial numbered 1455 with all numbered parts matching. A few of the small parts are numbered “55” which is correct. The revolver has tight action and lockup as well as smooth cycling, making this fully functional. Additionally, the bore is very nice on this revolver, especially given its’ age. We rate the bore at 8.5/10 conservatively. Strong rifling and minimal wear in the grooves. The finish is almost completely missing from this revolver, and there is some light patina throughout, but there is no rust or pitting, nor any areas of serious wear. The holster is unmarked. We aren’t sure of the caliber, but the previous owner fired this revolver with .38 colt short rounds.
