5/24/17 –This is a German Army issued gun for WW1. First manufactured in 1914, then reworked after the war in 1920 for the police, It has a unit marking on the front strap, and sear safety on the sideplate. The finish looks original to 1914 OR 1920. There is still a little visible straw on the trigger and safety. The parts are all matching. This includes the hold open and firing pin. The grips are unmarked. The bore has strong rifling but is freckled and frosted throughout.
