10/23/23 – This is an original US WW1 military web gear / holster grouping. The grouping comes with a canvas cartridge belt often using for carrying ammo / stripper clips for the M1903 rifles. The cartridge belt is attached to a canvas belt maker stamped by Mills, with a faint 1918 date stamp in ink. The canvas is near excellent with light surface wear and signs of aging but no major issues. Attached to the belt is an original WW1 first aid kit, and a canvas dual magazine pouch for the M1911 pistol. The mag pouch is also Mills maker stamped and 1918 dated. Finally, there’s a m1916 leather holster attached to the belt. The holster is in great shape with some mild surface wrinkling and dark discoloration, but the leather is firm and clean throughout. The stitching is all original and intact. The back leather is maker stamped by Western, and “A.M.” inspector stamped. A very nice WW1 era grouping!
