6/21/23 – This is a WW1 Austro-Hungarian Aircrew Badge. The medal is two piece construction and completely non-magnetic (brass). The eagle retains excellent detail and has some dark surface patina and mild discoloration but no major issues. The white enamel is excellent with some mild wear and discoloration but no major issues. The backside has two “carbine style” hooks and no markings or stamps. Weighs 19 grams. Measures 2.5 inches (just under 6cm) long and wingspan of 2.5 inches (again, just under 6cm) wide.
