11/3/22 – This is a WW1 era canvas “field gear” grouping, unit marked for the 372nd Engineers. The grouping includes a Mills canvas belt with 10 total cartridge pouches. The belt is maker stamped by Mills, and unit stamped “372 II” as shown. Attached to the cartridge belt is a WW1 canteen with canvas cover, utility pliers made by Kraeuter & Co., and a first aid packet. All canvas is original and ink stamped with maker markings and dates as shown. Excellent overall condition with no notable flaws and natural aging and patina.
