10/12/22 – This is an original WW2 German Army dagger, complete with an original hanger and portepee. The dagger is in excellent overall condition with a very clean blade. The blade shows excellent cross-graining and minimal discoloration. No signs of sharpening and maker stamped on one side. The metal pommel and hand guard both display trace amounts of original finish, but otherwise have typical surface aging and natural patina. The bakelite handle has no cracks or chips. The scabbard has some mild surface wear but the original finish remains within some of the deeper grooves as shown. The hanger and portepee are in excellent condition as shown.
