01/23/2024 – Up for listing is a US Model 1917 originally made in 1918 at the Winchester factory. The rifle is in good condition with no major blemishes to note. The stock is clean with no damages and the metal has a layer of patina throughout. The bore is fairly bright with good rifling but there is pitting visible when shining a light. The muzzle is also counterbored. The right side of the barrel has an import mark. The barrel is marked “JA” for Johnson Automatics which was made during WW2 to rebuild M1917s.
