8/18/22 – This is a nice example of a Winchester Model 1873 lever action rifle, manufactured in 1888. Chambered in .44 WCF. Overall, the gun is in fair condition, but there is noticeable brown patina covering virtually all of the metal parts. Light spotty oxidation and pin-pricking on the receiver. A couple of small white paint marks on the barrel. Comes with a nice wood stock with minor dings and bruises here and there. The bore has strong rifling with a couple of areas of minor pitting. Fully functional. No FFL required.
