3/22/22 – This is an excellent condition WW1 production Winchester M1917 bayonet. These bayonets are often paired with Winchester Trench & Riot Shotguns. This example is in excellent condition with a clean blade and original, unpainted scabbard. The blade is maker stamped, dated, and ordnance stamped as shown. There’s no signs of sharpening and very minimal spots of discoloration. The hand guard and pommel both have surface wear and normal patina. No issues with the wood grips. The scabbard has some mild surface wear but is in excellent overall condition and still in its’ original configuration.
