11/3/22 – This is an original Winchester trench shotgun bayonet from WW1. The bayonet blade is in excellent condition with no signs of sharpening and minimal discoloration. The ricasso is US stamped and ordnance stamped on one side, and Winchester maker stamped and 1917 dated on the other. The wood handle has no cracks or chips. The hand guard and hilt have some of the original blued finish intact with normal patina and aging mixed in. Comes with an original leather scabbard as shown. The scabbard has no dents or issues and is maker stamped and dated “Jewell 1918”.
