6/20/24 – This is an original and correct RZM marked Walther PPK from 1934-35. The RZM (Reichs Zeug Meisterei) was the equipment office of the NSDAP and was established to contract for equipment. These pistols were commonly thought to be issued to the German political leaders of the time. This one is all matching and has retained about 80% of its original finish. There is muzzle wear on both sides of the slide, and then more notable wear along the right side of the slide. Comes with a period-correct grip and Walther banner-only finger extension magazine. The grip has a stress crack from the screw being tightened too far, and there’s also a series of small dots/holes in the upper corner on the right side (not sure what caused this). Terrific bore. The magazine is also in great condition with no cracks in the base.
