3/7/23 – This is an original Walther PP designated for the Reichs Finanz Verwaltung. It is marked “R.F.V. 4733 W” on the front strap. This Nazi department was in charge of the borders as well as government financial matters – much like our own IRS and border police. This one comes as a rig with two period-correct magazines and a 1935-dated police-style holster. The gun itself has retained about 90% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear and some minor thinning and minor spotty discoloration along both sides of the slide. An area of brown patina and pin-pricking on the front strap. Fitted with a set of very nice period-correct black bakelite grips. Minty bore.
