2/18/19 – This gun is a very nice example of a Nazi, Walther-made, 9mm, wartime P.38 (AC42). The finish is original (about 92-94%) with most of the bluing loss on the front strap. Otherwise, there is typical holster wear with no real rust or pitting. The gun has all matching parts, including the slide, frame, barrel and locking block. All of the parts are properly “eagle 359” military proofed including the magazine. The magazine is also “JVD” marked which means it was added later – most likely 1944. The grips are period correct. The gun functions very well, and the de-cocker works properly. The bore is excellent – shiny with good rifling (8/10). Guaranteed original and authentic.
