12/11/17 – This is an early variation Walther Model 8. The original finish is thinning and only covers about 70-75% of the gun, but it comes in the original box – numbered to the gun. I don’t believe we have ever offered such a boxed gun before. The box is a bit tattered but you are still able to read the original serial number on the label. Walther banner embossed on the top of the lid. Also has the original manual included in the box. Interesting that the back of the manual has a target on it and someone took that quite literally. They put 2 rounds into the target and right through the manual. The gun has matching numbers on slide and frame. The magazine is original early Walther – with the large W on the bottom.
