4/2/18 – This is a 2nd variation Model 8 in all original and matching condition. The serial number is 7076xx. Only about 14,000 of this particular model were made between 1927 and 1930. The original finish is in about 97-98% condition with high edge thinning. The gun comes with black plastic grips marked 6.35 on one side and W on the other. There are no scratches on the disc that usually happen when someone tries to remove the grips with the wrong tool. It comes with an original Walther banner magazine that holds 8 rounds. The right side of the frame and slide are crown/N marked. The left side is marked for export to the commercial market – most likely the US. The inside of the slide has the matching last 3 digits of the serial number. Excellent bore.
