5/24/23 – This is a rare Walther model 6 holster that has been converted post-factory for use with a Luger. This is indicated by the magazine pouch, which has been replaced, and the internal cleaning rod and tool pouches, which were added to the interior lid as shown. The stitching around these “modified” areas doesn’t match the stitching on the rest of the holster. However, none of the stitching glows under a black light, and is likely all period-correct modifications made during the early years of WW2. The leather is in great condition with mild pliability and light surface wrinkling on the exterior. Clean interior leather. The back leather is maker stamped, as shown.
