6/24/24 – This is a Walther Model 4 issued to an Imperial German officer in WWI, as evidenced by the Imperial military proof on the left side of the slide. All matching. The bluing rates somewhere between 85-90%. There is minor scratchy wear throughout, concentrated mostly around the high edges. Areas of very light pin-pricking throughout, and some light brown patina on the grip straps. Fitted with black bakelite grips – a couple of hairline cracks on the right side. Comes with a proper Walther banner magazine. The condition of the bore is poor – the rifling is worn with pitting throughout.
