9/29/17 – This is a GI put together Walther P.38 from 1945. These pistols in the ‘c’ block were put together from parts as workers hurried to get items out of the factory. The slide, frame and barrel are mismatched but this is an all original pistol from World War II. Bluing rates at about 95-97% with a beautiful slide and some thinning on the strap. Excellent grips, though one panel is red and the other is brown. Excellent bore.
