5/11/21 – This is a minty example of a DSM training rifle made by Waffenstadt in 1935. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown B U” proofs. There is a “SOLD BD” marking on the metal fitting on the butt stock. This stands for “Soldaten Bund” or German Veteran’s Association. The gun has retained almost all of its high-polish bluing with very minor freckling on the top of the receiver and minor wear on the bolt handle. The stock is minty with very minor bruising here and there. Mint bore.
