12/9/22 – This is a nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1944. It is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 359” military acceptance proofs on the left side of the slide and frame. It has retained roughly 85% of its original wartime finish. The majority of the finish loss is on the grip straps, where there is also some light spotty oxidation. There is some minor muzzle wear and minor thinning along both sides of the slide. A few light scratches along the slide as well. Fitted with nice period-correct black bakelite grips – a noticeable crack along the left edge of the left grip panel. Comes with a period-correct wartime magazine. Minty bore.
