10/5/23 – This is a nice example of a Walther PP issued to the Nazi military in 1943. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Waffen 359” Nazi military acceptance proofs on the slide and frame. The gun has retained roughly half of its original finish. The frame has a really nice plumb color to it. There is spotty wear on the whole gun, but it most noticeable on both sides of the slide. There is noticeable spotty oxidation throughout (most noticeable on the grip straps) and a small area of minor pin-pricking on the right side of the slide just below the ejection port. Comes with excellent black bakelite grips and a period-correct magazine. The bore is near-mint – shiny with very strong rifling.
