7/15/20 – This is an original Waffen-proofed Walther PP pistol, issued to the Nazi military in 1944. The frame and slide are appropriately “Waffen 359” proofed. The gun is also “Eagle N” proofed. It is all matching. Overall, the gun is in great condition, retaining roughly 85% of its original finish. There is minor high edge/muzzle wear but most of the wear is on the straps. There are areas of splotchy discoloration on both of the straps and very minor brown patina. There is very minor freckling here and there, especially on the left side of the slide near the tang. The bore is excellent – shiny with strong rifling with minor frosting in the grooves. It comes with a proper wartime magazine.
