1/2/24 – This is an original WW2 era production German MP.40 submachine gun leather sling. This is indicated by the 2 holes on one one of the sling (k98 slings have 3 holes). The sling comes with an original leather keeper that’s waffen military proof stamped. The stamp is faint yet visible. The other end of the sling has a metal eyelet that’s maker stamped “L&F”. There’s another maker stamp of some sort on the interior leather near this end, but we can’t decipher the marking. The leather is soft and pliable with normal use wear but no major issues.
