11/19/18 – This is a fairly scarce, desirable holster from late WWII era. The holster has two different “types” or tones of leather which lead us to believe it was made from leftover parts at the end of the war. The holster fits a 7.65mm handgun. A PPK and an HSc fit very nicely. This would also fit similar sized 7.65mm pistols as well. Waffen stamped on the closure strap “WaA187”, which indicates this is made for the nazi army. The leather is firm with original stitching. There are no loose or missing stitches. There are two small scars on the closure flap, but these are surface only and do not penetrate the leather. A few age wrinkles on the mag pouch. Very nice, authentic piece.
