05/24/2024 – For sale is a P.08 Luger that has been reworked as a East German “VolksPolizei” (VOPO) handgun. These were stockpiles of Lugers that were overhauled by the USSR for local police. This example is mostly matching/forcematched except for the bolt head. The grips are the correct VOPO bakelite grips. The bore is bright with good rifling.
