5/31/24 – This is a truly exceptional and complete example of a very rare Japanese Baby Nambu rig. The listing includes both of the original, matching magazines, a very rare clamshell holster with shoulder strap, an original cleaning rod and even six original rounds of 7mm ammo. The pistol is all matching and original, including the grips with the full four-digit serial inside. It has 98+% of the blue remaining with only very minor high edge wear and a tiny bit of surface oxidation. Strong, shiny bore. The grips are in great shape with no cracks. The holster is even more rare than the pistols, and this one is in fantastic condition. Beautiful pigskin pattern with strong leather top flap, and only a minor scrape on the back. The cleaning rod is also extremely difficult to find. Lastly, original 7mm Nambu cartridges sell for ~$50 a round. One of only 6,500 produced, and given the completeness of this rig, there are only a handful of comparable groupings still in existence.
