3/8/24 – This is a terrific example of a rare Kokura Type 99 sniper rifle, significantly less common than the Type 97 counterpart. It’s all matching numbers and original bluing throughout, with full mum intact. The Japanese Type 99 sniper rifle that was made in 1943-44 at the Kokura Arsenal. There is minor speckling in the sight picture, and image is a little out of focus. Matching numbers on bolt handle, bayonet lug, receiver and cocking knob. Firing pin is unnumbered. Comes with cleaning rod and bipod. Wood is in excellent condition with only minor handling wear. The listing also includes a rare and original case for the scope.
