2/14/23 – This is a super rare and desirable Arisaka Type 99 sniper rifle from World War II. It is all matching and original with full mum intact! The bluing is very nice throughout with minor wear on the barrel and some thinning on the trigger group and rear of the receiver. This is a particularly desirable example as it comes with the unissued 4x adjustable scope, one of only 30 examples ever reported! The scope is Shibaura #18,143 made by Tokyo Shibaura Electric Company. The reticle is clear but there is some minor dirt/debris in the viewing field. It’s otherwise in very good condition, but has had the eye cup replaced. The rifle stock shows dings and indents but no structural issues. Comes with a cleaning rod and after-market sling.
