8/15/23 – This is a beautiful example of a very rare 1923 DWM American Eagle Luger, chambered in .30 Luger. This one is particularly rare, because it is AF Stoeger retailer marked and is also a rare Safe/Loaded variant – obviously sold in the US commercial market. It also has a custom-ordered 5″ barrel. Less than 1,000 of its kind made, and this one is an even rarer custom order. It comes as a rig with a bakelite bottom Swiss magazine and a modified 1915-dated Artillery holster (fits the gun well). All of the numbered parts of the gun are matching. The gun itself has been beautifully professionally restored and refinished. There are virtually no signs of wear except for some very minor discoloration on the side plate. Fitted with mint wood grips. Mint bore.
