8/1/23 – This is a very nice example of a super rare 1914 Commercial DWM Luger. There were only 2,000 produced, all within serial range 71,500-73,500. All were chambered in 9mm Luger. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” proofs. There are also British export proofs throughout. It has retained about 93-94% of its original finish. Minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. Some tiny scratches here and there. Light freckling on both grip straps and some light scratchy wear on the front strap. Fitted with very nice wood grips – numbered but mismatched. Comes with an un-marked magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is minor pin-pricking throughout.
