09/28/2024 – For sale is a Mosin Nagant M44 Carbine made at the Izvehsk arsenal in 1946. The rifle had undergone arsenal refurbishment and has a very nice dark finish applied throughout the metal. There are minor chips in the finish on the handguard ends. The stock is in good condition with a even coating of shellac. The bore is bright but gets darker towards the muzzle and there’s some carbon and copper fowling visible at the crown. The carbine has matching serial numbers on the barrel shank, bolt, buttplate, and magazine. There is an import mark on the side of the receiver.
