09/12/2024 – For sale is a M1 Carbine made by Inland Manufacturing in 1942. The rifle is in great condition overall without any major blemishes to note. The metal has a nice parkerized finish with wear and some oxidized freckling throughout. The barrel has some wear near where the Inland manufacturing stamp is located. This carbine is nearly all “parts correct” for a carbine produced in 1942. The only incorrect part is a Low Wood stock instead of a high wood Type 1 stock but it is still an Inland Manufacturing stock and handguard. The bore is very bright with great rifling but it is slightly frosted at the muzzle. The stock is clean and in great condition with “IO” stamped in the sling well and a cross cannons cartouche on the other side. The parts list of this carbine is included in the photos.
